Respiratory fit testing
Do you come to us, or do we come to you?
We come to you. Fit testing is a mobile service across Cairns and Far North Queensland, and travel to remote worksites and communities can be arranged.
How long does testing take per person?
Allow around fifteen to twenty minutes per worker. Tell us how many people need testing and we will confirm how long we need on site.
Does a worker need to be clean shaven?
For a tight-fitting respirator, yes. Facial hair between the skin and the seal stops the mask sealing, and no amount of adjustment fixes it. Where shaving is not an option, a loose-fitting powered respirator is usually the answer.
How often does fit testing need to be repeated?
Retest when the mask model changes, when the wearer's face changes noticeably through weight change or dental work, and otherwise on a regular cycle as part of your respiratory protection programme.
Documents and downloads
What format are the templates?
Editable documents you can brand and adapt to the job. They are written for Queensland workplaces and include the sign-off sections a SWMS needs.
How do I get my document after paying?
A download link is emailed to you as soon as the payment clears. It also appears on the confirmation page straight after checkout.
My download link expired. Can I get another?
Yes, at no charge. Email or call us with your order reference, which starts with TWC, and we will reissue it the same day.
Can I use one template across several sites?
Yes. The licence covers use within your business. You can edit and reissue it for your own workplaces, but you cannot resell or redistribute it as a template.
You do not have a SWMS for the work we do.
Tell us the activity. If no template covers it, we can write one specific to your job.
Orders and payment
Do prices include GST?
Yes. Every price shown includes GST, and a tax invoice is issued with your receipt.
Can we be invoiced instead of paying by card?
For larger orders and ongoing service work, yes. Get in touch and we will arrange it.
Are card details stored on your website?
No. Payments are processed by Stripe on its own secure checkout, and card numbers never reach our servers.
Working with us
Do you travel outside Cairns?
Regularly. We work across Far North Queensland, including Cape York and Gulf communities. Travel is arranged as part of the booking.
Can a workshop be built around our workplace?
Yes. Sessions are tailored to your industry and your risks, and customised presentations are available on request.
How quickly can you get to us?
It depends on the location and the size of the job. Call and we will give you a straight answer rather than an optimistic one.
